Prepare

  • Be familiar with the readings for the day, if any, before coming to class. In some courses, this will require a thorough reading; in others, it may be best to skim the text before class, waiting until after class to read the material thoroughly.
  • Review your notes from the previous session(s).
  • Be prepared with questions, and alert for connections you can make to what you already know about the topic.
