Learn from the mistakes you made by carefully reviewing your exam–what patterns do you see in your wrong answers?

Make changes in how you prepare:

• Spend more time studying the material you identified as important.
• Try to think more broadly about how the material might be applied.
• Develop practice test questions.
• Look out for patterns that lead you to make mistakes; create practice questions for strengthening your skills in this area.
• Work with tutors or study groups, attend office hours/make appointments with professor/tutor.
