Choose one textbook to function as your “test case”. Answer the following questions about the next reading in that text.

  • Is it clear what my survey will include? What will I be learning about, and how does it relate to what we’ve already covered?
  • Are my questions helpful to me? Do they address the “big picture” of the textbook and the class? Are they likely to help me develop test preparation materials? If not, what are the obstacles to my success?
  • Have I been able to apply the 4 R’s in my chunking? What are the challenges in this text, and what are the resources I can use to deal with them?
