Reading & Annotating Texts — REFLECT

After each chunk, take a moment to assess your progress:

• What are the highlights of this chunk?
• Do I understand it, or do I need help?
• Can I answer the questions at the end of the chapter (if there are any)?

If a re-read doesn’t get the job done, use one of your resources—the TA, professor, and/or a textbook in the library that explains this material in a more user-friendly way. Once you have a sense of this, you can put it into the context of the other material you’ve covered, in your reading and in your class.
